This is the opening event in the Hong Kong’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in
London organised by Ming Ai (London) Institute, aiming to raise awareness of Hong Kong’s
cultural heritage.
At this symposium, renowned intellectuals and chefs will be sharing their views on Hong
Kong’s heritage and the culture of Chinese food in the UK. The theme of the symposium
is ‘Dragon Boat Festival’. Have you tasted ‘zongzi’ before – a traditional Chinese food that
traditionally takes central stage at Dragon Boat Festivals? Do you know how it is made?
The symposium is also supported by the Hong Kong’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Office,
Lee Kum Kee (Europe) Ltd, Crowne Plaza London – the City, and British Airways.
