Hong Kong: A Dream Vacation Destination for Youth Travellers
Competition to win the chance to attend a university summer school in Hong Kong
This annual competition, organised by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, London,
enables British sixth form students to win a free trip to Hong Kong to attend a university
To enter, students must design a 48-hour Hong Kong travel itinerary for young people,
showing why Hong Kong is attractive to that age group and comparing travel experiences in
Hong Kong and a UK city.
As well as experiencing Hong Kong’s vibrant culture and tourist attractions, winners will also get
the chance to consider pursuing their university education in Asia. Entries must be received
by Tuesday 2 May. The date of the awards presentation will be announced later in the year.
The competition, now in its sixth year, seeks to encourage British students to consider going
to university in Hong Kong. It is sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways and supported by the
British Council and Hong Kong Tourism Board, and has the participation of the Chinese
University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science
and Technology, and the University of Hong Kong.
